Shark is about to take a bite out of the vacuum cleaner market thanks to its new Shark DuoClean Cordless Upright with Powered Lift-Away. The new cleaner combines the versatility of an upright vacuum with the freedom of cordless technology.

The launch introduces a brand new cleaning experience. Now, you can have the freedom of a cordless vacuum and the benefits of Shark’s innovative upright technologies.

You now get the bonus of DuoClean as well as the versatility of Powered Lift-Away. Furthermore, Shark has cordless covered, with up to 50 minutes run-time from a single charge of the Lithium Ion battery.

The final neat thing is that the battery can be easily removed and charged either on or off the vacuum. This opens up the possibility of having a spare already charged for the extra convenience.

DuoClean?

If you’re wondering what DuoClean is, it’s Shark’s unique floorhead that features two motorised brush rolls. Both work together to remove large debris, small particles and fine dust from all floor types. Shark has replaced the front wall of the vacuum with a second soft brush roll which helps to draw in debris rather than pushing dirt around.

Powered Lift-Away

Also, while we’re at it, Powered Lift-Away tech allows you to convert the upright into a cordless portable vacuum cleaner. All you have to do is just lift the detachable pod away from the floorhead. With power delivered directly to the vacuum head, the DuoClean brush rolls continue rotating and draw in the dirt for consistently great cleaning results. The bonus here is that it doesn’t simply rely on suction alone as other vacs do.

Being lightweight and versatile the handheld mode makes cleaning the stairs easy. Not only stairs though, but it also makes cleaning curtains, ceilings and underneath furniture hassle free too. It would also be ideal for vacuuming the car.
