D-Link Exo Smart Mesh Routers Launched at IFA 2019

D-Link has announced the launch of its all-new Exo Smart Mesh Wi-Fi Router series. This latest additions to D-Link’s portfolio of seamless connectivity solutions for the home comprises of the AC1900 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi Router (DIR-1960) and AC2600 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi Router (DIR-2660).

D-Link’s next-generation routers offer high-performance Wi-Fi connectivity combined with McAfee protection. So, as well as getting a faster home network, you also get a more secure one too. 

Protection

The routers all feature a five-year McAfee Secure Home Platform subscription. That protection goes for every device on a connected home network by blocking suspicious connections and access to malicious content. 

Thanks to comprehensive parental controls, you can prevent access to inappropriate content as well as setting up Wi-Fi schedules. 

Finally, the routers also come with a two-year subscription to McAfee LiveSafe, which allows antivirus software to be installed on an unlimited number of computers, tablets and smartphones.

The new routers feature best in class 802.11ac Wave 2 allowing for dual-band and tri-band combined wireless speeds of up to 1,900 Mbps, 2,533 Mbps and 3,000 Mbps. For even more extensive coverage, simply add compatible D-Link Wi-Fi Mesh extenders to create a seamless, self-optimising, mesh wireless network that allows you to move around without disconnection.

Additionally, you get voice control support with Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa enabled devices. Also, thanks to the potent 880 MHz dual-core processor, the routers can handle intensive network activity, giving you buffer-free video streaming, lag-free gaming and lightning-fast internet surfing.
